Dr Dannielle Medhurst – Director/Chiropractor DC BSc Hons. Dry needling (UK)

Dannielle obtained her degree in 2005 from the WIOC in Wales, UK. She has also completed multiple tertiary qualifications including dry needling and is currently completing her ICCSP qualification to be a certified sports chiropractor. This will allow her to work at events such as the Olympics, World Games and Commonwealth Games amongst others.

After graduation, Dannielle moved to Oman in the Middle East and opened its first ever mixer chiropractic clinic. Her primary goal was to offer a health care solution to those with no alternative. In 2011, a new challenge brought Dannielle to the Redlands. Dannielle has had a varied upbringing completing her studies in the UK and living abroad in Brunei and Oman.

Her philosophy for care is to ‘treat others how I would like to be treated and find what treatment best suits the complaint and individual’ therefore utilising a mixer style of care. She believes in the importance of crisis pain management, but more importantly maintenance care to improve quality of life via a holistic, non pharmaceutical approach. Although Dannielle has a keen interest in sports injuries her care can be styled to help any individual. Her aim is to help everyone function at their best.

A word from Dannielle ‘On a personal note. Over the years I too have suffered injuries. Those of a congenital and sporting nature but the worst was falling off a 10 meter cliff in 2010 and suffering ten+ spinal fractures, a few ribs, a dislocated jaw, two open head wounds and significant concussion. I lost my memory for a period and was on months off bed rest and rehabilitation. All this was after becoming a chiropractor! Although I recovered well I am now in the stages of early degenerative onset which has its own set of challenges. So yes I can totally sympathise with the physical but often emotional toll that comes when you are not living the life you want. Chiropractic care helps me on a daily basis to manage these issues but also with my day to day health and function so that I can perform at my best now and in years to come. Let it do the same for you’.

Dannielle is registered with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Chiropractic Association.
